TG series drum scraper dryer is a kind of rotary drying equipment with internal heating and conduction. The wet material obtains heat in the mode of heat transfer on the outer wall of the drum, and the moisture removal reaches the required wet water content. The heat is transmitted from the inner wall of the cylinder to the outer wall of the cylinder, and then through the material film, which has high thermal efficiency and can be continuously operated, so it is widely used in the drying of liquid materials or ribbon materials, and is more suitable for paste and viscous materials.
The liquid or slurry material forms a film on the surface of the drum heated by water steam or other heat carrier, and is dried in the process of one turn of the drum. The product is scraped off with a scraper, and the surface of the drum is exposed to contact with the raw material again to form a film for drying.
1, high thermal efficiency. The heat transfer mechanism of the drum scraper dryer is heat conduction, and the heat transfer direction is consistent throughout the operation cycle. In addition to the heat dissipation and heat radiation loss of the cover, the rest of the heat is used for the evaporation of the wet material film on the cylinder wall, and the thermal efficiency can reach 70%-80%.
2, operation flexibility, wide applicability. Many drying factors of the drum dryer can be adjusted, such as the concentration of the feed, the thickness of the coating material film, the temperature of the heating medium, the rotation speed of the drum, etc., which can change the drying efficiency of the drum dryer, and many factors are not related to each other. This brings great convenience to the operation of the drum dryer, so that it can adapt to the drying of a variety of materials and different production requirements.
3. Short drying time. The drying cycle of the material is generally only 10-300 seconds, which is suitable for heat-sensitive materials. If the drum dryer is set in a vacuum, it can be operated under reduced pressure.
4, the drying rate is large. Because the material film applied to the wall of the cylinder is very thin, generally 0.3-1.5mm, and the mass transfer direction is the same, the surface of the material film can maintain the evaporation intensity of 20-70kg.H2O/m2.h.
